Supporting adults as they rebuild their lives after health setbacks, estrangement, breakups, and other life-altering losses.
When Life Changes, Everything Feels Uncertain
Rooted in Madison. Helping you find clarity through life-altering loss.
Loss can change how you move through your life, your routines, and your space. Grief can come from many life changes—not only death.
Divorce, caregiving, illness, empty nest, or unexpected transitions can leave you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin.
You don’t have to navigate this alone.
A Gentle Approach to Rebuilding After Loss
Support that meets you where you are—emotionally, practically, and at your own pace.
My work is rooted in the belief that healing is not about “getting over” loss—it is about learning how to carry it while moving forward in a meaningful way.
I combine mindfulness-based grief support, reflective practices, and gentle creative tools with practical organizing and space guidance to help you rebuild stability and clarity in your life.
This is a process of reconnecting—with yourself, your environment, and what matters most.
This May Be Right for You If…

You may be:

Space Planning
I help plan and organize spaces to make sure they work well for the people using them. Whether it's an residence, office, a retail space, or something in between, I look at how the space is used and find smart ways to improve flow, function, and comfort, incorporating any pre-existing pieces scaled in layouts that are both practical and visually appealing. It's all about making the most of the space while keeping things efficient and user-friendly.
I grew up in a small town in North Carolina in a family that loved to travel. Exploring new places and being exposed to different cuisines, styles, and cultures fed my curiosity about the world around me. In the winter of 1990, I fulfilled one of my own dreams and moved to California. There, I nurtured my love of art, developed my design sense, and discovered a natural flair for organizing and transforming spaces.
Over the years, I built a fulfilling career in luxury retail and design while quietly pursuing my own creative passions—collecting, painting, decorating, and splashing color onto every wall I could get my hands on. Living in houseboats, Victorian flats, and lofts taught me how to make the most of every square foot and sparked my interest in efficient, beautiful space planning.
In the early 2000s, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with an emphasis in Psychology, Humanities, and Philosophy, from NYIT, along with a specialized AA in Visual Communications from FIDM. My background has allowed me to blend creativity, strategy, and an understanding of people into my consulting work.
Beyond design, I’ve also found purpose in advocacy and community. I’ve served as a Heart Valve Ambassador, sharing my own health journey to raise awareness and connect others with resources. Since 2020, I’ve also volunteered with Dr. Patrick Arbore, assisting grief support groups administratively. Helping people find connection and support has always felt deeply meaningful to me.
After 3 decades living in the Bay Area, my husband and I relocated to Connecticut to be closer to family. In my free time, I enjoy cycling, exploring nature, spending time with friends and family, and creating mixed-media collages and craft projects.
Other Ways I Can Help
-
Creative collage is a playful way to spark imagination and self-expression. In a relaxed, welcoming setting, participants use colors, textures, and images to explore ideas and create something uniquely their own.
No artistic experience is needed—just curiosity and openness. With magazines, handmade papers, photographs, and natural materials, each collage becomes a reflection of personal style, creativity, and the joy of making art for fun.
-
Therapeutic collage offers a deeply personal, non-verbal way to explore emotions that are hard to put into words. In a gentle, guided setting, participants use images, textures, and colors to give shape to feelings that may feel hidden or overwhelming.
Workshops begin with grounding practices and prompts like “What does your grief want to say?” to help participants connect with their inner experience. Using magazines, handmade papers, photographs, and natural materials, they create intuitive collages in a quiet, compassionate space for processing grief, honoring emotions, and finding meaning beyond words.
